Written from T(ka/o)ronto, a city built on the lands of the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and the Anishinaabeg, including the Chippewas and the Mississaugas of the Credit, land that should remain under the jurisdiction of these Nations. As a White settler whose family has been part of the colonial project in Canada since the early 1700s, one way I engage in reconcili-action is by being a monthly donor to the Native Women's Resource Centre in T(ka/o)ronto.
